DigitalOz

The name DigitalOz derives from my experience earlier on with internet marketing.  About 8 years back, the web was a mystery to me as a traditional product and direct response marketing professional.  At first, I thought only specialized agencies who knew the inter-workings of the NET could play there.  However, I quickly learned that many agencies were like  the “Wizard” from Oz… just normal people working behind the curtain of mystery and were learning web marketing as it evolved. (Just like me)  So after working with them for a about year,  my marketing team and I (at my the company I worked for at the time) formed our own in-house online agency for our company … and we rocked!   Don’t get me wrong, I love agencies (have even do work for one) and truly see their value as extended part of the marketing team.  But, I  really love that I have pulled back the curtain and became a passionate online marketer myself.  Plus, I also love helping my customers to do the same – whether they want to know the nitty gritty details or just reap the rewards the success the NET brings.

DigitalOz, today, is me… Cathy Peterson, an Online Marketing Consultant with a passion for online marketing, specializing in Search Engine Marketing (PPC, SEO, Local) and Online Marketing Program Management.  I think its really cool that my skill and passion has helped introduce customers, globally and locally, to companies on the fortune 500 list all the way to small businesses.
